Mating any brown egg layer with a blue layer will get you green eggs. The gene for blue colors the egg itself, the one for brown "paints" the outside of the egg. Thus, those laying blue eggs with the tan on them, the eggs end up green. Just use leghorns with your EE's I'd say. And don't use any that lay green eggs.
