Penn's Country Hams has been in business for over 54 years. It is a family business, started by Donald Penn, in 1957. His Father and Son were also a part of it. Starting out curing only 50 hams, Donald used the traditional recipe that his family used to cure their own hams and sold them at the general store in Mannsville, Kentucky. By 1972, Penn's was curing over 4,000 hams a year.
