Hot Chocolate without Milk. This recipe for dairy free hot chocolate is made without milk, very simple to make, and can easily be adapted to taste. It only needs a few ingredients and does not require melting chocolate. While this recipe is only for one cup, you can easily multiply it to make more. Prep Time 1 minute.

In a medium saucepan, heat the milk and heavy cream over medium heat until it comes to a simmer. Add the chopped chocolate to the pot and whisk until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
