Historic motor racer Denis Welch has died following an accident in the Silverstone Classic's second Jack Brabham Memorial Trophy race for pre-1966 Grand Prix cars. The 69 year old, who was driving a 1960 Lotus 18, was an experienced racer as well as the founder of a Healey specialist business.
